Locations

Animal House is a designated PetSmart Charity. Although our rescue is mainly foster-based with animals cared for in-home by our team of volunteers, select adoptable animals can be visited in store.

Volunteer hours

Find our kitties inside the Royal Oak PetSmart near Trader Joe's. Our space holds around a dozen cats at a time, and residents are rotated between the store and their foster homes to ensure no one spends a prolonged amount of time in an enclosure.

Volunteers are on site Monday through Friday at 6 p.m. as well as Saturday and Sunday at 4 p.m.
Meet-and-greets can be scheduled during volunteer hours to meet adoptable cats currently in foster.
High-energy and more social cats are put in tents for enrichment during volunteer hours, and visitors are welcome to come play with them.
